Experienced Public Practise Accountant / Senior Accountant

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

You will be a key member of the team helping with running of our practice by primarily performing a client facing role where you will be responsible for processing the annual accounts, annual tax returns with the added responsibility of presentation to customers. You will be communicating and engaging with customers directly so clear communication skills are important.
Additional to the above will be assisting with junior staff support and on the job training. The role is a intermediate to senior role, where you will be assisting customers with general queries, software setup, budgeting and other areas of business advisory.

Ideally you will have experience in using accounting systems such as, MYOB AO, Rural Cash Manager, Banklink and Xero.
Have knowledge and experience of Xero. Yardley Lo is predominately using Xero as the ledger for annual reporting.
A full understanding of NZ tax legislation.
Experience with compiling annual accounts and using work papers
A keen work ethic to be immersed in a busy office where you will need to be flexible with an ability to multitask.
Have the ability and steadiness to work to deadlines in a fluid environment that requires daily task management
Be able to work a minimum of 35hrs per week
Be willing to make this role your own with a long-term view
