Financial Accountant 6 Month Contract

My client is part of a large organisation looking after the wellbeing of New Zealanders with part of the finance team based in Dunedin with the rest in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. This role reports to and works alongside the Financial Controller in Dunedin CBD. This is a full time permanent position As an integral part of the 5 person team in Dunedin you will be carrying out a range of tasks including: Assisting with monthly accounts preparation, reporting and analysis Assisting the Senior Accountant with projects and fixed assets register Prepare IRD returns Internal and external audit function as required General Ledger, and journals Any other tasks that the Financial Controller needs a hand with We are looking for someone who is: CA/CPA qualified (almost qualified is ok too) Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Great at building rapport with stakeholders at various levels Large ERP experience is advantageous Please note you must be in NZ to apply for this position.
