Job summary
Private hospital in growth mode seeking a Ward Team LeaderManage and lead a dedicated team for efficient ward servicesFull-time position contributing to exceptional healthcare services
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Manage all staff across the ward, including HR management and staffing• Be clinically hands-on 2-3 days a week across all types of cases• Foster team collaboration, enhance patient care delivery, and drive operational excellence• Provide strong and inspirational leadership to a team of 24 staff members• Oversee day-to-day operations of the ward services for high standards of patient care• Monitor and evaluate service delivery against established key performance indicators• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders for seamless coordination of services
Requirements
• NZ registered nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate• Open to those from other sectors of the perioperative environment with transferable skills• Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities• Effective communication and interpersonal skills• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
