Tenancy, Property Assistant and Office Coordinator Manawa Community Housing Trust Papamoa Beach, Bay of Plenty Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) The provision of quality affordable housing for all members of Nga Potiki is a key strategy for Manawa Community Housing Trust. This strategy includes building and managing social rental housing, affordable rental housing, kaumatua kainga, papakainga and affordable home ownership. Manawa Community Housing Trust is a registered community housing provider, tasked specifically with providing housing solutions for our Nga Potiki whanau. Manawa Community Housing Trust delivers housing and housing services for Nga Potiki in the Manawa subdivision in Papamoa. As a successful applicant, you will enjoy working as part of a well-respected and influential team with many opportunities for further growth and development. To be effective in this role you will need to have and/or demonstrate: 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment. Provision of prompt response to enquiries received within the scope of responsibilities. Delivery to quality and time. Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook. Experience with administrative and clerical procedures. Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required. Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi / The Treaty of Waitangi principles and Te Ao Maori. Previous experience in a Construction support/Tenancy role would be desirable. Knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act 1986. This is a multi-faceted role which includes: General duties related to Manawa Community Housing Trust administration and office. Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude. Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks including copying, faxing, taking notes, providing IT support, and making travel plans. Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary. Maintenance of the tenancy database. Assistance with Income Related Rent subsidy processes and engage with relevant government departments. Assisting with property construction reports. Assisting with property inspections. Assisting with meeting prep for construction meetings. Assisting whanau through our home ownership programs guided by our Property Manager. Logging reported faults and maintenance requirements. All applicants must have New Zealand Residency, a full and clean driver's licence, and a clean police record.
