Details of the offer

After School and Holiday Programme
Team Member

We are an established provider of care for school children in Tauranga and provide the peace of mind families seek. We capably meet the needs of school children before and after school and during the school holiday periods and are looking for like-minded candidates to join our team.

We are looking for a prospective Team player who will show their skill level with school age children in our workplace. We want our kids to rip into the centre knowing and looking forward to you being there.

We are looking for ‘that’ person to demonstrate their ability to be prepared, organised and ready to ‘plug in’ to our busy place. We’re busy in all things e.g. sports, art, music, technology!
If your experience, in our industry, has equipped you for a leadership role, we look forward to reading that in your cover letter.

We are looking for you to be fussy about the way our centre ‘rolls’ during each session time, bringing your energy, sense of humour and integrity to our team and children.

You would expect our guidelines are set by Ministry of Social Development (MSD) and delivered through the OSCAR standards. The required 1:10 staffing ratio resources our centre well.

The creative content of our programme is written and provided by our planning team..
Our children want you to be an awesome adult and to enjoy your great sense of humour. They need you to be really switched on to them and their friends!

If you are the successful ‘person’ we are seeking, you will:
• be able to follow successful systems to deliver awesome activities for our age groups of school children
• be a positive role model and gain children’s respect quickly
• manage your time effectively to work ahead of centre timelines
• be energetic and organised to competently take your part in an interactive centre with vibrancy, energy and laughter - while maintaining safety
• fit right in with our team, children, families and business core values

We have a centre on-site at two primary school in Tauranga - Greenpark School and Pillans Point School. Our ‘switched on’ teams will support and guide you through your induction and training period. They will expect you to bring a great affinity with kids and provide the genuine care children require. Together, our team deliver a great programme that has children engaged with fun, humour and safety at all points.

We are looking forward to exchanging your skills and commitment with our above industry payrate. We do this to value the right people for our children.

Should you require care for your own school age children within our programme, a partial or fully subsidised rate may be available to you.
