Our Disability Support Services reflect our belief that all people deserve to live fully, have equal opportunities, and achieve their ambitions. We are looking for an energetic and motivated team leader for our Intensive Support Services for our youth and young adults in Wellington. You will lead a team in supporting our youth to live as independently as possible whilst also providing a safe environment where they can develop confidence, build friendships, and interact within the community. We are seeking three team leaders for our Kapiti Service, Lower Hutt Service and New town. There will be a mixture of morning, afternoon, and evening shifts spanning across the week, so having the flexibility to support your team across a variety of shifts is a key part of this role.What does the role involve? | He aha te mahi a te mahiA Team Leader assists people with disabilities to live as independently as possible, as well as leading and motivating their team. Your day will involve a range of responsibilities and could include:Activities at home and in the community that are meaningful and purposeful to the people, including maximizing independence and involving Whanau.Household duties including meal preparation, daily care routines, and personal cares.Working together with a team to implement personal support plans consistently, with effective and positive teamwork and communication.Providing people with a warm and nurturing environment to live in, which is inclusive of ideas and feedback so that each person is supported towards their personal goals.What is in it for you? | He aha kei roto mo koeAs a company we are committed to our employees.
