Supply Chain Manager - Fixed Term Contract Fred Recruitment Ltd Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty Management (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) 20-25 hour/wk, 9 month FTC with some flexibility Focus on day to day team management and site production planning This is a key role in the business and works closely with the New Zealand leadership team and reports to the international Head Office. Leading a team of three, you will ensure the smooth supply chain operation, end to end. We are looking for someone with a strong strategic procurement background (think, global long lead times) in a manufacturing or FMCG environment who is also a proven leader, able to mentor and continually develop the team. Your commercial acumen will be well utilised running analysis and global reporting. This is a maternity contract and we are looking for a start within the next few weeks. At this stage we are offering a 9 month contract (depending on when you're able to start), which is due to finish in Dec or end of Jan, let's see what works for you. Due to the nature of the position we need experience and an ability to jump straight in. The best thing about this position are the hours, 20 hours per week. You'll still be able to drop the kids at school and go for a surf! The preference is 4-5 hours per day, Tues-Fri. You'll be working for an international manufacturer based in Mt Maunganui.
