We manufacture in Asia, and sell via 18+ international distributors who supply bicycle retailers around the globe. Over 95% of our customers are located off-shore, primarily in North America and Europe. We also operate our own e-commerce and amazon channels.We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Global Supply Chain Manager to lead our distribution, e-commerce, and manufacturing supply chain operations and drive excellence in logistics, fulfillment, and production.Job Overview:As the Global Supply Chain Manager and member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for growing and overseeing all aspects of our distribution, e-commerce delivery, and manufacturing supply chain operations on a global scale. You will lead a team of three direct reports and work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise processes, ensure on-time delivery, reduce costs, enhance the overall customer experience, and improve manufacturing and production efficiency.Key Responsibilities:Strategic direction Actively develop the future vision for Kids Ride Shotguns supplychain.Develop and implement global supply chain strategies that align with the company's business goals and objectives, covering distribution, e-commerce delivery, and manufacturing.S&OP Take ownership of, and continuously improve our S&OP process, optimising our supply vs demand positioning.Monitor and optimise inventory levels, ensuring that products are available to meet customer demand while minimising excess inventory.Team Management & Partnerships Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Supply Chain & Customer Service Specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure team members meet their goals and grow in their roles.Develop and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, e-commerce platforms, manufacturing facilities, and key stakeholders.Monitor, manage and negotiate contracts with key suppliers, carriers, and 3PL partners to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability in the supply chain.Manufacturing Oversee manufacturing and production operations, ensuring efficient production scheduling, quality control, and on-time delivery of products.Oversee both QA and manufacturing cost control.Growth and optimisation Drive for optimisation across all areas of the supply chain, from raw materials to end customer delivery. Monitoring, managing, and where possible exceeding expectations in relations to both production and distribution costs.Monitor and ensure compliance relevant to global delivery regulations, import/export requirements, and industry standards.Additional responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, product development, sales and marketing to optimise supply chain processes and address any operational challenges.Actively contributing to the company at a leadership level, supporting overall company objectives and mentoring your team and the wider team indirectly.The ideal candidate will have:– Significant experience in the supply chain and global logistics space– High volume SKU experience– Omni channel exposure (eg e-com/amazon/wholesale)– Asian manufacturing experience, ideally hardwareThis role is Tauranga based, as it requires a large crossover with our leadership team.
