We have a permanent opportunity available for aStore & Retail Designerto form part of our Customer Experience teamat our Albany based Support Centre. Working within the Store Development team, this is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the design and feel of our stores. It is a rare chance to apply your design principles within a bulk retail environment.

The Store & Retail Designer has responsibility for drawing up store design plans for the Retail box, Garden Centre & Drive Thru, which include detailing, departmental flows, adjacencies and the visual appearance of merchandise from a macro perspective.

Reporting to the Store & Retail Design Manager, this role requires someone who has:
Experience in a retail design or commercial design environment;
A clear understanding of “best practice” store layout principles and departmental adjacencies, along with latest design trends;
Solid skills in AutoCad and MS Office;
Ability to render in Revit application also relevant.

The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, be able to multitask, and enjoy putting forward suggestions for new and better ways of doing things. You will also having the ability to work just as easily as part of a team or autonomously.
