Thai Chef

Leo Thai Kitchen Ltd. T/A Raimeo Thai have an opportunity for a talented Thai cuisine chef to work at Raimeo Thai, authentic Thai restaurant in Warkworth, Auckland. You must be able to plan and organise high paced kitchen.   Duty tasks: ·      Prepare, cook and present Thai Cuisine to a high standard. ·      Design and plan menus. Estimate food and labour costs. ·      Order food supplies and inventory control. ·      Demonstrate techniques and advise on cooking procedures. ·      Comply, explain and enforce hygiene regulations. ·      Cooperate with front-of-house and other departments. ·      May select and train staff. May freeze and preserve foods.   Applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job: Experience:  At least 3 years experience in Thai cuisine working in a restaurant or hotel;   This position is permanent full-time. Hourly wage rate $29.66 per hour with guaranteed hours of 30 hours per week and $29.66 per hour for any additional hours of works. You will be working at Raimeo Thai 1 Queen Street, Warkworth, Auckland 0910. Hours and days of work shall be set out in roster which will include evenings, weekends and may fall on public holidays.   Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or citizenship.
