Prior to the release of the differing medicines and pharmaceuticals we consume, they are trialled on people. Research organisations conduct complex studies using willing participants who represent specific demographics.
Did you ever have a friend who spent a day doing a clinical trial and was generously renumerated? Perhaps they had to stay somewhere overnight and have different measurements taken. Our client provides this testing service and infrastructure to global pharmaceutical and biotech organisations. Every time you consume medicine that enhances your quality of life, it has been rigorously tested by organisations similar to our client.
Key to providing this service and infrastructure is the sourcing of participants who are actively willing to be test subjects. To do this, our client has a contact centre operation, focused on participant recruitment.
This organisation is experiencing tremendous growth. Theres an excitement and energy in the air that comes when finances are good, growth is good and everyone is pumped. A key driver of the organisations service is the recruitment of willing participants to join the studies this organisation supports. That is where you come in.
As the Social Media and Digital Marketing Manager, you have total ownership of the digital marketing strategy, the purpose of which is to drive participant recruitment. There are several channels you can do this, with Facebook and Instagram being two key mechanisms.
The demographics you are reaching out to are varied. Much of the prospective market is young and very open to new, innovate and interesting marketing strategy and copy. For many of them the opportunity to participate in a study conducted by this organisation represents a huge amount of tax free money and a genuinely interesting experience. This means youve got a great bedrock to produce interesting, engaging, varied, creative, agile and inspired marketing strategy and copy.
Tasks you can expect to get stuck into include (but are not limited to):
Develop marketing material and copy to drive increased participant acquisition
Trial, test and evolve the organisations digital marketing approach taking advantage of different platforms and communication strategies
Drive a reduction in the cost of acquisition per lead by increasing responsiveness and engagement with different marketing
Bring a cleverness and creativity to digital marketing
Liase with the executive (an open, accessible and friendly team) on strategy and strategic performance
Work with the contact centre to continue to develop the quality of different initiatives and the leads that come from them

To be successful in this role you would want some of the following:
A relevant education
5+ years experience in digital media marketing
Experience leveraging Facebook and Instagram for digital marketing
A conceptual understanding and personal interest in the function of A.I in digital marketing is a plus
