We are a locally owned electrical company based in Wellington, seeking a Service Manager with a strong electrical background to help maintain our excellent reputation as the company grows.

This is a full time position with salary dependent on experience and qualifications, a company vehicle, and a mobile phone. 24 Seven Electrical is a full-service domestic and commercial electrical company covering the greater Wellington region and local suburbs.
Key role responsibilities include:
Champion health & safety culture within the company and implement and oversee H&S systems as H&S rep (training provided if needed)
Oversee apprentice programme (support, training, keeping skills sign-off on track)
Provide on-call advice to electrical field staff
Conduct customer and site visits for quoting, monitoring job progress, and ensuring quality
Quoting and estimating
Invoicing
Communication with customers - phone, email, etc.
On-site trouble-shooting and assistance
Qualifications and experience include:
Good knowledge of electrical regulations
Current NZ Electrical Registration with strong technical capabilities
Full clean Drivers Licence
Experience in domestic and commercial installation work
Fault finding on equipment, machinery, appliances and repairs
Ability to read, work from and interpret electrical services and building drawings
Draw/edit electrical plans
Manage many jobs simultaneously
Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills both verbal and written
Fergus job management system experience a plus
Tech-savviness
You will be working with our Managing Director, Office Manager, admin staff and electrical field staff as well as customers and suppliers.
