National Manager Response Capability - Location Flexible - Permanent National Manager Response Capability - Location Flexible - Permanent Mo tenei turanga - about the roleReporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Service Delivery Design / Deputy National Commander, the National Manager Response Capability is a key member of the Service Delivery Leadership Team.This role is responsible for leading the improvement, development, and implementation of national operational standards and policies as well as significant contribution to frontline safety and operational improvement. It also provides overall leadership to, and integration of, specialist aspects of operational capability including urban search and rescue, hazardous materials, medical response, specialist response, and emergency planning.Apply your extensive management skills to contribute to the overall operational leadership of the Service, for all personnel.Ko tau na i tenei turanga - What you'll bring to the role:To be part of this rapidly changing and often ambiguous environment, you will need to have a strong work ethic and clear values that align with Fire and Emergency New Zealand. You will motivate and lead the team collaboratively. You should have excellent relationship building skills and be confident working with unions and associations.
