About the role:
Working full time Monday to Friday this role with see you working with the Service Manager to lead the teams across the Northland Region. This will involve both operations and HR capacities across clinics ensuring the teams continue to be the ultimate benchmark in the industry for quality imaging and exceptional care. You will be predominantly based in Whangarei but may require some travel to Kerikeri. This would be an exciting opportunity for a current team leader looking to step up, or a current senior MIT looking for a change.

What you have to do:
Operations: manage the general x ray and mammography departments across the Northern region including rostering, machine outages and reviewing patient diaries
Health & Safety: ensure the departments comply with health & safety protocols, policies and standards
HR: training and development of staff, team meetings and staff appraisals
You will also need to provide support to Radiologists and ensure patients are provided with the best patient care
Skills and Experience: Qualified with a recognised medical imaging degree
Current and up to date APC/registration with the NZMRTB
Sound knowledge of general X ray and mammography
At least 3+ years experience
Proven leadership experience required with effective communication
Able to work successfully in a team and be committed to continuous improvement
