Auckland City, AucklandContractAuckland based opportunityFixed term until end of June 2020We currently have a fixed term opportunity for an Auckland-based, experienced and capable Senior Learning Designer to join our team of highly committed, fun and collaborative L&D professionals.The role:Our Senior Learning Designers lead the effort to create innovative learning solutions using sound instructional design methodologies, current technologies and effective project management to meet organisational development goals based on best practices from the field.Here are some of the projects you will be working on during your time in the role:Risk and Compliance LearningDangerous Goods LearningSafety Assurance LearningYou'll be looked upon as a leader in the team, providing coaching and mentoring to your colleagues, while also engaging with our senior stakeholders to ensure that what we are designing, and the development of content meets their business needs.What you'll bring to the table:Key to your success in this role will be your ability to pull together meaningful learning in a short period of time. You'll be able to demonstrate your experience in instructional design, across a wide range of learning solutions.This is a strategic role, where your confidence, resilience, and skills in stakeholder engagement will be highly valued. You'll be well versed at facilitating and enabling change through learning initiatives, and have the ability to make critical, big picture decisions so that our solutions are future-proofed, flexible and aligned to our wider business goals.You'll have a deep understanding of how adults learn, including the importance of informal and social learning, and your solutions will be innovative, pragmatic and achieve business results.
