Are you a seasoned Facilities Management professional ready to take on a leadership role with a renowned organisation?On behalf of our client, we are excited to connect with individuals who possess the right blend of experience, technical expertise, and strategic vision. As the Senior Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the property and assets portfolio, with a focus on ongoing facility management.
What the Job Entails:
• Lead a team of internal resources and external suppliers to deliver reactive and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure works are scoped, prioritised, and undertaken in a safe and compliant manner.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the facilities team.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
• Ensure the effective delivery of day to day BAU activities, ensuring health & safety is always a consideration
• Set clear and consistent expectations for performance, supporting development, motivating the team and enabling growth
Experience You Need:
• Minimum 10 years' experience in facilities management, with 5 years in team leadership roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of building services and construction.
• Experience in hazardous goods management is highly desirable.
• Full understanding of current Health & Safety regulations.
• Familiarity with commercial building statutory obligations, codes of practice, and sustainability initiatives.
• Project management experience and ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Exceptional planning, management, and time prioritising skills.
