In this role, the Senior Business Analyst is accountable for collaborating with delivery stakeholders and subject matter experts to elicit and define system and business requirements, analyse solution viability, and document Tribe, Squad and/or Project deliverables.
What you'll do: Build strong relationships through engagement with colleagues, and other key stakeholders.Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document system and business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business needs.Create detailed user stories to support delivery.Solve both technical and business problems using a methodical and consultative approach.Work closely with squad / project members, including but not limited to Project Manager, Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developers, Tech Leads, Test Analyst and SMEs to identify, capture, plan and deliver changes.Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable.What you'll bring: Minimum 5 years' business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role; in an autonomous environment with a geographically dispersed teamExperience with Agile, Lean and waterfall methodologyDemonstrated Human Capital Management (HCM) system experience, ideally with Oracle Fusion HCM.Knowledge of Payroll functions and platforms. Experience with Datapay would be an advantage.Excellent communicator who is able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate solutions.Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills.Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference.Demonstrated organisational skills and flexibility in responding to changing priorities.Expert experience with project management tools and techniques, such as JIRA and Confluence.What we can offer you: 12-month fixed term contractPositive, inclusive team environment where we welcome individuality and celebrate diversity.Flexible working environment and arrangements; genuine focus on work-life balanceOngoing learning and development opportunities
