Details of the offer

One of our clients is looking to expand their team based in Wellington. They are looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to join their high performing team. Passionate about their people and customers, our client is a firm believer in work life balance and maintaining an excellent working environment.
The Role
You will be undertaking development for major projects and new product launches
Work collaboratively within and across different teams in Information Technology to ensure that seamless service and support is provided to our user community
Approach tasks with and Agile and DevOps mindset
Provide ongoing 2nd and 3rd level support. This will involve analysing and resolving application support requests, solution design, programming, unit testing and maintenance of core applications
Work with the Solution Architects to design, build and test technical components in-line with the Technical Architecture road map
Provide support to the other developers to empower them to confidently contribute towards creating and maintaining best practice development standards
Perform automated and manual unit testing and prepare code releases through various environments, including testing and production

What You Need
At least 5 years experience developing and configuring the Salesforce platform
Solid hands-on development experience with: Lightning Components, Visualforce Pages, Classes/Controllers, Apex Triggers, Test Classes, Batch Jobs Web Services, RestResource Classes, HttpRequests, Remote Site Settings, Connected Apps, External Data Sources and External Objects
Some variety of continuous integration platforms Jenkins, Teamcity, Octopus, etc.
Good SQL/RDBMS database knowledge
Experience with Agile development methodology
Be an independent and versatile hacker, with the ability to pick up different languages, frameworks and techniques with relative ease
Solid hands-on configuration experience with: Custom Object/Field creation, Validation Rules, Workflows, Process Builders, Flows and Change Set Deployments
