Advisor, Governance and Reporting – Te Ao Marama ProgrammeWellington CBDTe Haeata/The OpportunityThe role Advisor Governance & Reporting supports the Programme Office Manager to provide support and advice to the Te Ao Marama Programme Manager and Executive Leadership Team on governance & reporting and to manage and support governance & reporting processes.The role includes providing operational support to the governance boards, advising internally and to external key stakeholders on appointments, identifying adjustments and improvements to the governance process, and making connections between governance committees and the Leadership Team to ensure the governance system is effective.No candidate will meet every single desired qualification. If your experience looks a little different from what we have outlined and believe you can bring value to the role, we'd love to hear from you!Secretariate oversight of internal governance committees and other advisory bodies.Liaise across the programme to ensure policies, delegations and other documents are aligned with the governance processes and operations.Establish and maintain governance processes and documentation for governance committees and boards.Ensure information flows and sequencing of decisions across governance boards is well managed.Carry out an efficient and effective secretariat function to governance boards, that can include but is not limited to: meeting administration –scheduling meetings, agenda, collation and distribution of papers, distribution of minutes, following up action points.meeting attendance – capturing key discussion points, decisions, and action points. o planning and development – forward work programme development, terms of reference, appointments, updating intranet content.support – point of contact for committee matters, quality assurance.Identify and implement improvements to governance processes and systems.At Te Tahu o te Ture - the Ministry of Justice, we're committed to working together for a fair and safe Aotearoa.The Te Ao Marama programme has been established to support the judiciary to design and implement the Te Ao Marama – Enhancing Justice for All initiative.
