As a Sales Finance Analyst in our business you will look to improve the year on year net sales and sales contribution performance of the business by providing financial support and insights to NZ commercial team. Your solid analysis and understanding of the key drivers of financial performance is key to then influence the actions and behaviors of the sales team.
This role will see you ensure trade spend liability and expense is accurately reflected in the balance sheet and P&L respectively; ensure the integrity and accuracy of the sales data to then build insightful business reports on a regular basis; as well as identify and implement finance related process improvement initiatives.
A key element to your role is to act as the gatekeeper for all NPD launch processes ensuring all steps in the lead up to an NPD launch are completed within time-frames seeing you engage in this process with the entire commercial team.
A little about you
We’re after a passionate Sales Analyst who is either Finance or Accounting degree qualified, and has minimum 2 years’ experience within an accounting based role. Ideally you will have had some exposure to SAP however more essential is willingness to get in and learn.
You will be a commercially minded analyst who is well balanced with a good accounting base as well as systems and process improvement disciplines. You will have a broad knowledge of trade spend and the NZ retail environment and have strong excel skills.
Your business partnering skills will be second to none with the ability to build relationships and respect at all levels which will ensure you’re positioned as a trusted advisor to the business, overtime challenging the status quo. Your multitasking skills will be called upon regularly as is your flexible and proactive approach to ensure the needs of the business are met.
