Regulatory Reporting & Attestations Lead TSBWellington Central, WellingtonCompliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services)How we comply with New Zealand regulations and legislation is critical to any financial services organisation and at TSB, we are "bringing compliance to life".The primary purpose of this role is to lead a significant work stream – Regulatory reporting and attestations- within the 2LoA to ensure TSB's risk management framework is robust and imbedded across the business, that risk is understood and managed in line with TSB's risk appetite.This role will provide independent senior support to the Head of Regulatory & Prudential Compliance. You will mange your own workstream largely independently including the provision of strategic insight and recommendations on Line 2 approach in your area of expertise.The role includes management and facilitation of the 2LoA Regulatory reporting and attestations processes - reporting on outcomes, insights and trend reporting.This role is specifically responsible forSupporting the Head of Regulatory & Prudential Compliance in the development and oversight of an effective compliance programme that provides coverage over all of TSB's relevant compliance obligations, including ownership of TSB's Compliance Risk Management standards.Development of effective relationships with key stakeholders to create a strong compliance culture within TSB, one in which compliance is recognised as helping TSB to achieve great outcomes for our customers, our community, our stakeholders, and our people.Compliance related remedial or corrective action, taking a lead role to the extent appropriate.Lead appropriate control and assurance activities to ensure TSB maintains an effective control environment over a wide array of regulatory responsibilities.Provision of timely and quality insight and oversight to Management and Board in relation to TSB's Compliance Risk profile and performance against appetite.To succeed in this role you will have:A Tertiary level qualification in related field and relevant industry qualification preferred2+ years' experience working in legal, regulatory compliance from the Financial Services Sector.Solid knowledge of Banking Regulatory risk management.Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation and maintenance of a Compliance Management Framework.Having had practical exposure to the full range of the operational risk toolkit, including managing the risk framework, compliance, analysis and reportingExperience with non-AML legislation e.g. Privacy, Consumer Credit, Advertising, Health & Safety and Financial AdviceThe ability to communicate complex compliance requirements in a way that is easily understoodExperience in designing, developing, implementing and oversighting compliance management frameworks in a Line 2 environmentProven assurance capability on control design and operation for regulatory and compliance controlsExceptional stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence up to senior management levelsWho are we?At TSB our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we are committed to developing and encouraging our people to achieve their goals.We have launched an employee benefit package for our TSB whanau that is central to our People First value, to create an attractive, flexible and supportive working environment for our TSB whanau.
