The Children’s Ward/Te Whare Whakarata Taitamariki provides whanau centred care for children and adolescents in the acute care environment in Whakatane hospital.
We are a kind, friendly team of skilled and motivated nurses all working to provide quality health outcomes for the child, family and our communities.
Knowledge of Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the principles of Kaupapa Maori is an asset. Applicants must be committed to implementing Te Toi Ahorangi Strategy to ensure tamariki and their whanau move towards Toi Ora.
