About the team
Ward 9C is a busy open 16 bed inpatient facility comprising of two funded youth beds, with a dedicated staff. The service caters to clients that have been assessed as requiring a period of increased assessment, investigations and/or interventions and have been admitted via community teams or the Emergency Psychiatric Service, and cover of all the major psychiatric diagnoses.
About you / about the role
If you are a Registered Nurse with recent Mental Health nursing experience looking for a new, permanent opportunity this could be it!
As a Registered Nurse in Ward 9c you will provide care for patients with the full range of general adult mental health disorders, including youth, mothers and babies, and eating disorders. We seek enthusiastic experienced Registered Nurses to join our team on a permanent basis working rostered shifts.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who are dynamic, innovative and wish to join a service that is committed to high standards of practice and supports ongoing professional development.
We are keen to place motivated nurses who wants to make a difference and will join us in facilitating our group programme as well as working in partnership with individuals. The role is busy and diverse and will require someone who has a good general mental health background with experience in the acute mental health sector.

Candidates must be New Zealand Registered Nurses, and hold a current APC as well as a scope of practice that enables you to work in Mental Health.
