About the role
Work for a North Shore private surgical and inpatient hospital, you will be a part of a team which specialises in a wide range of surgical procedures (orthopaedic and general). You will support leading surgeons and a nursing team known for their outstanding practice and exceptional standards.

What you have to do Demonstrate sound clinical knowledge and assessment skills
Prepare theatre pre and post operatively
Scrub and circulate during elective surgeries/ procedures
Evaluate effectiveness of clinical care and adjust patient care interventions
Support and manage clinical emergencies and complex clinical situations
Evaluate health outcomes to refine care pathways and protocols
Comply with Clinical Standards of Practice and Health and Safety guidelines
Skills & Experience NZ registered nurse with current annual practicing certificate
Experience in theatre preferred
Sound clinical expertise in theatre and well developed nursing skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Strong problem solving capability
Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Strong focus on delivering quality care with optimal patient outcomes
