What you have to do Complete accurate nursing assessments
Provide interventions and deliver on-going care
Perform primary care duties e.g. immunisations, smear taking, health checks, wound management
Support and educate patients and families to promote wellbeing
Provide information to patients to make informed treatment decisions
Maintain timely, accurate patient documentation
Skills and Experience NZ registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
Prior experience working within Primary Health Care would be ideal but not required
Authorised vaccinator and smear taker is advantageous but not required
Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and working in a culturally appropriate manner
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player committed to providing excellent service
