About the roles
Our friendly care team are on the look-out for several Registered Nurses to join them on a casual basis to provide first class care and services to our residents. This role encompasses the assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care; working with our care staff in a way that facilitates effective communication, teamwork and high clinical standards and supporting quality improvement within the team.
On offer are several casual opportunities, working as and when required. You will have the opportunity to work at several of our villages around the Midlands cluster, located around the Bay of Plenty. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts is essential.
Skills and experience required
You will appreciate how important this position is in delivering an outstanding service to our residents, so you will have empathy for the older person; excellent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate in a clear, considerate fashion; and an industrious, diligent approach to ensuring that the job is done to the highest standards.
You will also have:
Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
Experience working in aged care in New Zealand is preferred
Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
You will also have: a helpful, team player attitude and a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
