Purchasing/Inventory Manager

Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) Due to some significant changes within our team, we are taking the opportunity to see how we can do things in a different way. As the Purchasing/Inventory Manager (PIM) you will be required to. Develop and execute purchasing strategies in line with our centralised buying model including all category reviews and relays on the store floor (you will be required to be on the store floor daily). Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness (manage shelf weight and inventory held to maximize cashflow and space). Managing supplier relationships to a high standard - we like being the store that reps want to come to! Coordinating with all departments regarding their supply needs Overseeing the relevant purchasing and inventory teams in their daily activities Maintaining records of goods ordered and received. Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers where appropriate (in compliance with The Grocery Code).
