ABOUT THE ROLE As a Procure to Pay optimisation and procurement specialist supporting the Operations and Supply Chain business unit, you will play a crucial role in optimising and managing the end-to-end procurement process within the organisation. Leveraging your expertise in ERP systems (ideally SAP), you will contribute to enabling an efficient process and controls for the acquisition of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance, and timely delivery. The position will lead and influence change, working closely with internal stakeholders and site/functional managers and their direct reports. Other tasks within the role will include: Review current purchasing strategies and processes across the operational sites within the Operations and Supply Chain business unit. In conjunction with key stakeholders, develop new processes, ensuring business requirements are met whilst streamlining and capturing efficiencies in process. Ensure SAP processes align with the procurement and supply chain business requirements and processes. Includes addressing current challenges surrounding framework orders/approval process/chain of command/invoice approval issues Analyse current suppliers of goods and services, working with the relevant business units to fully understand requirements Negotiate with suppliers, under delegated authority, to optimise spend across categories ABOUT YOU The ideal candidate for this role will have had strong experience in Procurement at a senior level, with a particular interest in process improvement. Your experience in ERP purchasing and procurement modules will be important in identifying and implementing those improvements. To be considered for this role, you will have the following: Relevant tertiary qualification or professional education – i.e. Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience with ERP systems with a focus on purchasing and procurement modules. In-depth knowledge/ super user of ERP system processes, with respect to procurement processes and configuration. Change management experience Strategic business partnering Project and program leadership Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
