Randstad Property are working with a Charitable Trust as they look for a passionate Public Housing Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will build positive relationships with whanaunga, support their housing needs, and connect them to services. You will guide them through changes, help with tenancy commitments, and ensure their home is fit for purpose.

A Day in the Role:
Building positive, trust-based relationships with whanaunga while maintaining their rights and dignity Identifying and responding to housing support needs and other wellbeing needs, connecting whanaunga to support services Collaborating with Maintenance to manage requests impacting well-being Ensure compliance with tenancy management obligations under the Residential Tenancies Act Adhere to relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and codes of ethics/practice ? Identifying and escalating risks to the Housing Manager as needed Maintain records in alignment with guidelines and standards What you bring:
Will be experienced in working with individuals facing housing and wellbeing challengesDemonstrate strong empathetic skills for building relationships and connecting with a diverse range of clients Working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies ActAble to deescalate emotional situations and engage in strength-based conversations Present cultural awareness for aligning with whanaunga aspirations, especially with Maori and Pasifika Current full New Zealand driver's license Benefits
