About the role We are looking for an exceptional Registered Clinical Psychologist to provide a high standard of clinical psychology practice and expertise, contributing to the provision of a comprehensive, culturally appropriate and ethical service within Mental Health and Addiction Services in Northland.
You will be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team providing psychological assessment, including psychometrics, leading to sound formulations and multi-axial DSM diagnose.
If you are an experienced, pro-active, motivated and self-directed psychologist with the ability to educate as you go, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for!
This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday
Key requirements Registered Psychologist with the New Zealand Psychologists BoardAppropriate experience of service provision, including early intervention with Psychological and Psychometric screening with the provision of a variety of Psychological treatments.Experience in working with individuals with Axis I and Axis II disorders.The ability and willingness to work as part of a multi-disciplinary teamWhilst not essential, applicants with a working knowledge of the New Zealand Justice system and knowledge and experience in working within a CBT/DBT framework are desired.
