Acting on behalf of the Kaingaroa Timberlands Partnership, Timberlands Limited manages the operations carried out in New Zealand's largest plantation pine forest, the 189,000 ha Kaingaroa Forest Estate, located in the central North Island. .Purpose of the Role:Reporting to the GM People, Culture & Transformation, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of comprehensive internal and external communication strategies to enhance our reputation and ensure the delivery of consistent and impactful messaging across all channels and platforms.Key accountabilities include:Develop & execute a Communications & PR strategy to enhance brand visibility and reputation.Lead internal and external communications that tell our story to enhance our public image and stakeholder engagement.Lead the Intranet content strategy to ensure it serves as an effective communication tool to keep employees informed and engaged.Develop and lead the Timberlands' Website content strategy to ensure alignment with our goals, audience needs, SEO best practices our brand story and identity.Design and implement a comprehensive Social Media strategy.Support with crisis communications to mitigate potential public relations issues when required.Our ideal candidate will have:A relevant tertiary qualification with at least 5 years' experience in a Comms & PR role.Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear and persuasive content.Strong knowledge and experience managing social media platforms and leading digital marketing strategies.Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.What we offer:The successful applicant would receive a remuneration package that aims to retain and reward excellent people including a competitive salary, a discretionary performance-based bonus scheme, health & welfare insurances, and excellent professional development opportunities including working on some of our exciting strategic projects.
