The role will be responsible for providing leadership in the development of the infrastructure architecture and provide input into the security architecture ensuring alignment to business strategy, developing Infrastructure and security roadmaps.Key Responsibilities:Proven experience in Infrastructure Architecture and best practices.Drive, embrace and apply security processes and practices across the organisational infrastructure.Responsible for ensuring all monitoring and alerting systems are operational across the Ballance organisation.Lead a drive a culture of high performance, High engagement and continuous improvement.Continuously identify and evaluate opportunities to improve and add value to Ballance through the infrastructure function.ABOUT YOUThe perfect candidate for this role is a skilled Infrastructure and Security expert who stays actively involved in technical work while also being adept at overseeing a small team. You will also be able to demonstrate the following:10+ years of experience in IT, with in-depth experience and knowledge of servers and networks.Three or more years of leadership responsibilities, including input into strategy and budgeting.Exceptional leadership and relationship skills with the ability to inspire and motivate.Solid experience in Back up products and methodologies (Commvault).Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and technologies to business leaders and business concepts to the workforce.ABOUT USWe love New Zealand, and we care about our growth, our land, and our people.
