Aroha- The value of love, respect and empathy, demonstrating compassionate and non-judgemental relationships.Kotahitanga- The value of unity and vision sharing where we demonstrate trust and collaboration.Manaakitanga- The value of respect, support and caring where we demonstrate doing our very best for others.Tino Rangatiratanga- The value of self-determination where we empower individual/whanau choice.Ko te kaupapa | About the role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to work in our Occupational Therapy team, this role is predominantly a rotational inpatient role rotating through the main hospital wards including Medical, Surgical, ATR (stroke/rehab), Emergency Department and Community with input into Paediatrics and Critical Care as required. This role is ideal for a new graduate Occupational Therapist, or an experienced Occupational Therapist with an interest in inpatient services. If you are a new graduate then we may be able to offer an Allied Health Assistant position in the interim whilst you await registration, please indicate your interest in this on your application.
We have a great team of Occupational Therapists with a wide variety of experience and skills. This job requires working closely with the other Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Therapy Assistants, as well as being a part of a wider multi-disciplinary team. Excellent time management, adaptability and communication skills are essential for this role.
