Reporting into the Medical Director for GSK NZ, this is a unique hybrid role that will see you engaging with Key Opinion Leaders in HIV as well as having a diverse range of medical affairs responsibilities.
Your responsibilities will be broad and will include:
Providing medical and technical expertise and input into scientific submissions; brand strategy and providing final sign of on promotional materials and activities
Representing the medical team in cross functional projects to ensure quality delivery of patient-focussed projects and outcomes.
Building and developing relationships with external experts & health care professionals in the HIV field and participating in robust and transparent scientific dialogue.
Responding to requests for scientific and medical information in a comprehensive, timely and customer focused manner.
Developing and maintaining extensive knowledge in the HIV therapeutic area as well as keeping up to date with GSK pipeline products and activities
Medical governance, risk management, regulatory and pharmacovigilance accountabilities including considerations relating to patient safety.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous experience in a Medical Science Liaison or Medical Affairs Manager role within the pharmaceutical sector (preferred)
Experience and willingness to engage with external customers and stakeholders.
An applied understanding of the NZ healthcare/pharmaceutical landscape.
A medical degree, PHD or a degree in a related field such as Pharmacy or Biomedical Science.
HIV therapeutic area expertise (preferred)
A commitment to the highest standards of ethical medical practice and governance
