A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced General Manager to join a progressive Audio-Visual Wholesaler A Dynamic General Manager is required for a Wholesale Operation in Auckland. The successful applicant must have extensive prior experience in Custom Installation and Home Automation. Duties would include, but not be limited to; Assist in the development and execution of the technical strategy plans on each brand Assist sales team and dealers with designs, provide technical support, document technical support in Cloud based systems May undertake responsibility for some accounting, sales, marketing, human resources Configure and program control systems for trouble shooting and testing. Work with relevant dealer outlets to ensure a high level of customer service. Assist with dealer training on technical issues. Provide technical support to sales team and customers as needed Representing the company at trade shows, training events and conventions when required. Working with all team members in the company from finance to sales, and managing warehouse staff. Preparing and implementing financial and sales reports and targets, to maximise profit and efficiency. Managing Staff relationships. To be successful you will have: Strong experience in the Automation Industry, in particular on large projects Ability to solve technical problems Be able to undertake responsibility for some accounting, sales, marketing and human resources issues. Technical proficiency in java script. Sound knowledge and understanding of various programming platforms. Strong technical skills and understanding of complex technical solutions Highly motivated and outcome focussed. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to listen effectively, learn quickly and adapt easily Be able to assess changing situations and respond accordingly with appropriate resources Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to listen effectively, learn quickly and adapt easily Immediate start for the successful applicant.
