An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious lawyer to join our client’s thriving practice situated in Canterbury, Kent. The successful applicant will utilise their expertise to handle a varied caseload of private client matters, whilst participating in business development and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Wills
• Probate
• Lasting powers of attorney
• Inheritance tax planning
• Court of Protection matters
• Trusts
• Agricultural estates
• Estates involving both domestic and overseas property
• Attending hospitals, homes and other places of residence
• Dealing with elderly and vulnerable clients
• Networking and business development

The Candidate
• Solicitors and legal executives with 2 – 6 years’ PQE
• Experience in private client law is essential
• Be highly organised, able to manage a full caseload and meet tight deadlines
• Be client-focused with first class interpersonal skills across all levels
• Demonstrate a flair for business development
