We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and inquiring auditor to join our Assurance and Audit team, in one of the most diverse Public Service organisations. This role supports the Manager Assurance and Audit through the provision of internal assurance and audit services and advice. While not essential, candidates should be tertiary qualified, preferably a CA or working towards one, and have a good knowledge of public sector good practice standards and guidelines. You'll be part of the Te Urungi – the Maori, Strategy and Performance Branch; a branch with a big job. Te Urungi provides direction, oversight, leadership, and advice across the Department through a broad range of corporate functions including risk and assurance, strategy leadership, performance reporting, governance services, legal advice, te Tiriti, and much more. You will work in collaboration with other specialist functions in the branch to ensure the seamless experience of its services.
