Intermediate Technical Writer

Who are we looking for? You will be supporting cross-functional agile development units of designers, developers, business analysts and test analysts.
The role involves a range of technical writing skills and responsibilities:
Designing minimalist documentation to support new software features
Writing and maintaining modular, single-source, documentation based on DITA principles
Reviewing user interface text for clarity and localisability
Terminology management
Reviewing and publishing release notes
Working with content management tools to implement new documentation formats
The NZ: Intermediate Technical Writer Role
A degree or other industry-relevant qualification in the fields of language, communication, or I.T.
3+ years of experience in a technical writing role
Excellent written communication skills in English, with a high command of spelling and an understanding of grammatical principles
Excellent attention to detail
Strong interest in language and technical communication
A willingness to act on own initiative as well as being an effective team member
Proven ability to effectively manage and prioritise a varied and busy workload and to meet deadlines
Ability to develop and maintain good professional working relationships with people at all levels across the company
