We're interested in meeting candidates with varied backgrounds, and we'll be looking to tailor the role to suit the level of experience of the candidate.In a role with Geotechnics you will be expected to:Work to a high level of diligence, providing high-quality fieldwork that facilitates high-quality data for our customers.Duties include:Telemetry equipment and sensor assembly, configuration, and deployment in the fieldMonitoring of field instruments, processing of data and reportingTroubleshooting and diagnosis of problems with electronic equipmentInstrument data integration with our softwareSupporting existing projects and customers through periodic field maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure continuity of high-quality serviceWhat You'll Bring:A full New Zealand driver's license is required.Have at least basic electronics skills and knowledge.Relevant industry experience and/or telemetry experience would be beneficial.Have practical experience using various power and hand tools.Have good communication skills and will be comfortable interfacing with various customer representatives on projects.Have a desire for ongoing learning and the ability to develop new skills and knowledge independently.Be reasonably competent on a computer, although the focus of this role will be practical fieldwork.Want a job that involves a mix of in-office technical work and getting outdoors to deploy equipment.
