Is this your next role?
You’ll provide taxation guidance, advice and manage Heartland Group’s tax compliance and planning function in New Zealand and Australia. Managing interactions with the Taxation Regulators, external advisors and from time to time the Boards of Heartland Group, you’ll also identify and manage tax risks so you’ll stay across the activities and plans across the business working closely with our Legal and Corporate Finance teams. You’ll remain abreast of all developments in taxation legislation for the identification of emerging taxation risks and allow for their management.
Does this sound like you?
With a detailed knowledge and understanding of Tax laws, you’ve likely been a Head of Tax, Deputy Head of Tax, Senior Taxation Manager/ Specialist or a Director in a CA environment with banking knowledge. You’re a hands on operator, very happy to also do the ‘doing’. With effective management skills you’re an excellent communicator, focused on delivering results.
You’re a pro:
NZICA qualified with 5+ years’ experience post qualification
Tertiary qualified in accounting, legal or related degree
Taxation background within the Financial Services industry, preferably banking
