Graphic Designer

Are you looking for a great 3-month contract where you can flex your multi-media design knowledge?This in-house Graphic Design contract, based in New Lynn, Auckland is responsible for driving the design and creative aspects of marketing initiatives for the entire Business Group. You will work closely with the Marketing Team to drive lead generation and general branding and are focused on designing marketing assets and content, developing company websites, photography and videography, general brand building and helping with developing messaging, analysing campaigns and industry research.In this contract role, there is a required sense of urgency, pro-activeness, creativity, methodical process, and high attention to detail, which are all essential attributes for success in this role.You are: A creative and strategic thinkerExcellent relationship management and customer service skills, with an ability to collaborate with others to achieve shared goalsPolished communication skills – both verbal and writtenUnderstanding of design, copy, web practices, social media platforms, website maintenance tools, and media technologiesAbility to prioritize, accept responsibility and use initiative when required.Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity and able to maintain confidentialityAble to perform effectively under busy conditions and meet deadlinesDemonstrate excellent organisational skills and excellent attention to detailFull driver's license Education and Experience Requirements: A tertiary qualification in Design, Marketing, or a related fieldHighly experienced in Adobe Creative Suite including but not limited to Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere ProDeveloping and sustaining productive working relationships with internal and external colleagues3 years or more years in a similar roleWeb development experienceUnderstanding of the Treaty of Waitangi If you would like to be part of a busy team and are available to commit to a 3-Month contract, working inhouse with our client located in New Lynn, Auckland – we would love to hear from you.Due to the volume of applications, we can only reply to candidates who are suitable for our current roles.
