The role: As the NZ distributor for Kohler and our own TX branded generators, you will be responsible for the growth and development of our full range of power generation products. This role reports to the Power Products Manager and is based out of our Auckland branch.

Working in a high trust model, you will have freedom and autonomy around getting on with what's needed to deliver and support the rapid growth our generator division is experiencing in New Zealand.

After a detailed and progressive onboarding plan, we will work with you to train, guide and support you to be the best that you can be and be seen by your customers and competitors as a leader in the industry.
Responsibilities include: Continual growth of the Power Products business in your regionAchieving key sales objectives through building multi-level relationships with existing and new customer organisations.Developing sales opportunities.Using Salesforce, managing a sales pipeline for your territory opportunitiesProvide monthly and quarterly business reporting.Gather and communicate information such as forecasting, customer specific requirements and product specs.Facilitate day to day sales via local TDX branches.Overnight travel as required to service the regions. We are ideally looking for: A sales professional with a strong sales background preferably in the power generation business.Trade qualifications in electrical, diesel or mechanical repair advantageousProven business acumen and demonstrates commercial awarenessComputer competency in MS Office Suite, i.e. Excel, Word, with accurate keyboard skillsStrong verbal and written capabilities in the English language and interpersonal skillsAble to plan own tasks and work priorities to achieve objectives and meet deadlinesA positive and enthusiastic attitudeSelf-managed and task focused to achieve agreed goals and tasks with minimal day-to-day supervision.Ability to build rapport and form solid relationships with internal and external customers and suppliersEfficient approach to problem solvingThe ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.Team player but can also work independently.
