Our client is a well known finance company who provides investment opportunities outside of the banks. They're NZ owned and operated and have experienced huge growth, with no plans of slowing down anytime soon!
The current General Manager of Credit and Lending is retiring, who has been with the company for a long time. Make no mistake, we're looking for the best of the best to fill his place.
To be considered for this role you will be a lending and credit specialist who isn't afraid to get stuck in. You will be a solid commercial lender who understands law.
Based in Auckland's CBD, we're looking for someone who has 10-15 years experience behind them in a similar role, who is good with documentation and numbers.
The primary focus of this role will be around the development and management of companies lending book. This will include the originating, management and collection of loans.
Some of your key duties will include
Originate, asses and process loans
Gain approval for loans
Instruct solicitors
Complete payouts
Manage loan books
Deal with recoveries
Complete board reports
Contribute to planning and strategy
Assist the Managing Director
Requirements for the role
A strong finance and banking background with 10-15 years experience in a similar role
A solid commercial lender
Excellent legal knowledge
Meticulous attention to detail
Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and associated finance systems
Strong market knowledge
