We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ERP Data Analyst to join our team.
Position Purpose: The ERP Data analyst will be a meticulous, insightful Data professional with extensive experience in all data activities associated with ERP implementations, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
The key focus of the role will be the responsibility for hands on completion of data activities; data analysis, data cleansing, ETL and data migration, data retention, data archiving, data deletion and core data management. The ERP Data analyst should have a proven track record in these areas and also possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to confidently engage with a wide range of stakeholders, build relationships and empower teams.
The ideal candidate will be delivery focussed, hands on where necessary, self-motivated and IT-literate with Microsoft 365 productivity skills to ensure project and business wide collaboration in a hybrid environment.
Key Accountabilities: To complete Data analysis utilising understanding of the Microsoft Data model and Weta FX requirements.To complete extract/transform and load activities using a range of tools appropriate for a Microsoft Dynamics implementation and other WFX apps.
To work with Weta FX project and business workstream leads, data owners, process owners, data cleansers and analysts, to complete data activities.To work alongside the ERP Data Lead to support the creation of plans and standards for the Data activities aligned with the ERP Implementation plan.To work alongside the ERP Data Lead to support the setup and running of Data governance sessions with the business and complete actions and data activities assigned.To identify risks to delivery of Data activities and escalate to the ERP Data Lead / Project Management.Technical skills required: SQL – Especially PostgreSQL and MySQL dialectsData and Process modelling tools and methodologiesFamiliarity with the Python programming languageGit-based version control systemsLegacy Applications, spreadsheets, and other data sourcesA relevant tertiary/industry qualification in Business Information Systems, Data Science or extensive work experience is required for the success of this position.At Weta FX we celebrate our diversity and believe in creating an environment where all our crew feel welcomed, respected, supported and appreciated.
