Our Opportunity
We are currently working with a brand new centre that has just opened in Rotorua. They are looking for an amazing qualified early childhood teacher to join their team in the over 2's room.
The Centre is located just outside of Rotorua CBD and is licenced for 25. This role is full time, permanent, and they are looking for someone to start in March.
Key responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate a learning program that is responsive to the strengths and interests of children Promote learning opportunities that are inclusive, equitable, and culturally responsive Document children's learning and take responsibility for children's learning stories as agreed with the center professional leader
About you:
Early childhood teaching qualification recognized by the Education Council of Aotearoa NZ Knowledge and understanding of current early childhood education theory and practice Be a team player who has great communication skills, with parents, staff and children Can use initiative and is committed to quality practice standards and the principles of Te Whariki Enthusiasm and a strong desire to make a difference to children in their early years while building strong links with their whanau and families.
Qualification Requirements:
Masters/Bachelor Level 7 ECE or Primary - New Zealand or equivalent qualifications Experience in an early years environment a must Provisional or Full registration
