Job Description So, what is a normal day going to look like? Apprentice Selection and Retention: Actively engage in our Electrical community for talent attraction. Collaborate in apprentice selection and retention efforts. On-Job and Off-Job Leadership: Support apprentices in managing their workload and learning requirements. Monitor and proactively address issues that affect practical learning. Utilize our Student Administration Management System (SAMS) for apprentice management. Provide guidance and adapt to changing apprentice needs. Coaching, Mentoring, and Pastoral Care: Offer caring support, regular check-ins, and academic guidance. Leverage support from partners when needed. Performance Management: Assist apprentices in getting back on track and connecting them with necessary support. Conduct regular appraisals and provide constructive feedback. Host Relationship Management: Engage with host companies and ensure support for apprentices. Act as a key point of contact for host companies. Completion, Graduation, and Beyond: Ensure apprentices complete their learning journey successfully. Maintain connections with apprentices and support their continued positive contributions. Desired Skills and Experience What is going to make you stand out from the rest? Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or a related field. Proven mentoring or leadership experience. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and inspire apprentices. Proficiency in management systems and data tracking. Compassion and empathy for pastoral care and support.
