Part-Time, 56 Hours per Fortnight, 0.7FTE
We need an experienced Registered Nurse to joinDistrict Nursing Service in South Canterbury. You can’t get any more front linethan caring for people in their own home environment where the clinical carethat you provide as a health professional is going to make a real difference toan individual’s health status.
The role involves working rostered shifts includingweekends, evenings and on-call. Opportunity to work additional shifts to meetservice needs covering peer leave.
District Nurses work closely with visiting ClinicalNurse Specialists, Palliative Care Nurses and Primary Care providers within thearea and forms an integral part of the South Canterbury DHB District Nursingteam as a whole. Support will beprovided to maintain professional competencies in accordance with NursingCouncil requirements.
A current Practicing Certificate and full driver’slicense are essential.
