Based in our Otara Campus and reporting to our Culture and Development Manager, you will be supporting a team of four working across our Culture, Development and Talent Team. The role is really varied and you will have a passion for organisational development (OD) and talent acquisition, ensuring that we hire the best people. You will be working with not only a talented team but one that is really passionate around supporting our staff in their journey at MIT and ensuring that our students have the best experience whilst at MIT. The culture is fast-paced, fun, busy and highly collaborative. One day you could be assisting the talent team with advert writing and candidate care and the next working with the culture and development advisor on MIT's Leadership Day or our induction programme.
We are looking for someone who is able to juggle multiple tasks, be willing to jump in and help, has excellent communication skills and most important wants to make a difference. We are a small team in people and culture, just 14 so the opportunity for you to gain exposure to all areas across OD and talent acquisition is totally up to you. In this newly created role within the culture, development and talent team, why don't you write your job description!
The right person for the role will have worked previously as a coordinator/administrator in human resources and experience in recruitment would be beneficial. Although, a recent HR graduate with a strong interest in HR, wanting to learn and gain experience can also be considered.
