As an organisation we strive to create a dynamic and positive working culture that engages, challenges, and rewards our staff.  The Role We are recruiting for the position of Commercial Manager located at our head office in Albany, Auckland. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a pivotal leadership role that is integral to the continued growth and success of Rushmore Distributors NZ. The Commercial Manager is responsible for ensuring the financial, commercial, and operational functions of the business are operating effectively and efficiently in line with business strategies and controls. Key responsibilities include: Primary ownership of the management and preparation of financial and management accounts prepared in line with group policies and GAAP. Optimisation of supply chain performance including procurement, purchasing and logistics. Providing commercial and administrative support to the GM, including being involved in corporate projects, reviewing trading agreements, completing commercial assessments and analysis, and human resources. Lead and manage key business projects to drive business improvement and growth. The Person We are looking for a passionate business leader. Preferably someone who has worked in a senior leadership role leading a Finance or Commercial team for a minimum of two years. The Commerical Finance Manager is someone who is financially and commercially savvy, who is confident leading and executing significant projects within an organisation. Working closely with the GM and wider leadership team, the role will suit a high energy person who can think analytically and strategically to influence the performance of the business. It requires a candidate who is action focused and motivated to succeed as an individual and as part of a team. This role provides a great opportunity for the right person who will thrive in a high performing business and is looking to develop their skills and take their career to the next level.  CA qualification or equivalent is required. A candidate with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office and general IT system knowledge is strongly preferred. The Benefits Located in Albany North Shore.
