We are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and hold stewardship for equitable health outcomes for Maori as Tangata Whenua as the highest priority.This is a clinical leadership role operating across the adult acute services within the adult mental health services for Whangarei and Kaipara.Working in partnership with the Service Manager, the Clinical Head of Department will provide leadership across Tumanako Inpatient Unit, He Manu Pae, CATT, Triage & Medication Run, Raranga Tahi and Consultant Liaison.Offering an opportunity to shape and lead the service, at an exciting time of development and innovation, this role will work closely with the General Manager and Clinical Director to provide professional leadership with the aim of providing a high quality service to meet the community, service and organisational objectives.The successful candidate will be one who is looking to make a contribution to improving outcomes for people accessing mental health care - in particular for Maori, with a focus on addressing inequity.
